12/04/14 - Ingo Pape- USDF Sport Horse Prospect Development Forum - Getting Sensitivity to the Aids, Stretching to the bit

Ingo Pape leads a session on sensitivity to the aids. The total running time of this two part video is 31:45.

Video Description

Ingo Pape leads this session, encouraging the rider to ask the horse to stretch down and bend around the inside leg. They begin with a better trot rhythm on the second day of this clinic than the first day. We get a great example of him reaching for the bit while they keep him forward, and Ingo asks them to go to the canter while keeping the frame. After the warmup they bring him up with the poll being the highest point. They work on making the walk trot transitions more immediate and then go on to the trot halt trot transitions.
