01/2009 Jan Brink teaching rider, Heather Robertson, 2nd level, Getting the frame up, making the horse adjustable not allowing the horse to slow down in collection. Day 1.

Jan helps this rider with her 5 year old. He works on getting the frame up, using the leg and not pulling the neck down with the hand. At the canter they play with the idea of shorter steps, but keeping the horse quick. Talks about allowing the horse to take breaks when the horse does good. Keeping the horse happy in the work. Training the right walk is shown and discussed. Building blocks of the half pass. 2nd Level. USDF FEI Trainers Conference.
