John Lassetter resides in the UK and has trained many riders up to Grand Prix level and for Young Riders including the European Championships. In addition to previously being the team trainer for National Pony Club Dressage champions, Chiddingfold PC. John’s own classical training background combined with his involvement with the British International Trainers Foundation brings together a modern way of thinking with both clever and traditional exercises to help horse and rider reach peak performance.
From novice to Grand Prix, lessons are available with John and Charlotte Lassetter at the Lassetter’s yard in West Sussex or places can be booked on the Lassetter’s renowned teaching clinics held throughout the UK and in selected locations around the world. As part of every day work on the yard John, Charlotte and now Daryl Ware are involved in training horses from youngsters that are just broken right through to Grand Prix level. Horses are taken methodically step by step through the training process. Fast tracking is avoided to allow development and potential to be reached over time.
