Video Description

Nancy Later leads a lunge lesson focusing on the rider position and how it affects the movement of the horse. She asks the rider to first shift their weight to each side to demonstrate how the horse tries to stay underneath her. They next demonstrate how tightening the thighs affects the horse. Nancy has her do various exercises while keeping a deep connected seat with good posture. When they move to the trot, Nancy has the rider vary her posting to control the speed of the horse.
